Shake it Matt! Lauer and Ellen DeGeneres end their prank war with one final joke at the Daytime Emmy Awards
For the past few months, Ellen DeGeneres and Matt Lauer have been feuding.
On Sunday night, however, the ongoing video war between the two 57-year-old hosts of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show came to an end.
With one final joke - involving a naked, dancing Matt - the daytime stars made up and even raised some money for charity.

Truce? Matt Lauer and Ellen DeGeneres said they were ending their prank war in a video aired during the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday night
'In the spirit of the Daytime Emmys, Ellen and I are here to announce that we are officially ending our prank war,' Matt explained in a video aired at the beginning of the awards ceremony.
Although both pranksters promised that the feud had ended, that pledge was immediately broken when the video showed Matt ripping off his suit.
Underneath, viewers got a glimpse of toned abs, lacy underwear, and stockings held up by garters.
Serious beginning: With comments about the spirit of the awards being made, it almost seemed like Matt and Ellen could be serious about the situation at first
Watch out: The situation changed rapidly when Matt insisted on dignity and then proceeded to rip off his suit
Even Matt's nipples were adorned with tasselled pasties.
It was, of course, not really Matt's body that immediately began shimmying in the video, but the effect was quite impressive.
'Matt, please! This is a dignified celebration,' Ellen protested with mock concern. 'Oh my God, pull it together!'
Video effects: While obviously not Matt's real body dancing in underwear and heart-shaped pasties, the effect was quite amusing
The video was more than just a silly joke, as Matt and Ellen soon revealed that he had promised to donate $1000 of his own money to charity every time an Emmy winner thanked him in a speech that night.
'Remember, if you win, please pick me!' the Today anchor begged with one final shake of the tassels.
Many of the stars took up Matt on his offer throughout the rest of the night.
Good cause: The prank was not just for laughs this time, as Matt pledged to donate $1000 of his own money to charity every time he was thanked during the Emmys that night
Worth it: Many stars responded positively, with Matt getting several acknowledgements during the show
Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O'Dell even upped the ante by thanking Matt three separate times during her acceptance speech for Outstanding Entertainment News Program.
The feud between Matt and Ellen began with a rather odd video shown on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in which Matt supposedly showed his love for Fifty Shades Of Grey.
Ping pong balls, billboards, and more got in on the continuous war in the ensuing weeks.
