What a role model! Christy Turlington swaps the catwalk for the race track as she runs the London Marathon
She's used to strutting down a runway but model Christy Turlington took on a whole different challenge on Sunday.
The 46-year-old ran the London Marathon alongside 37,000 others who were all raising money for charity.
US star Christy chose a cause close to her heart, competing for her own charity - Every Mother Counts.

Model behaviour: Christy Turlington ran the London Marathon on Sunday, raising money for her own charity Every Mother Counts
Christy looked in good spirits ahead of her 26 mile mission, posing near the start line in Blackheath in her running gear.
The star teamed some cropped black leggings with a grey hoodie emblazoned with her charity name, while her purple and pink trainers and a baseball cap finished off her kit.
Beaming for the cameras, the model told her Twitter followers the night before the marathon that she was 'Excited for tomorrow and reaching my goal! @everymomcounts #LondonMarathon.'

Christy founded her charity Every Mother Counts five years ago, with an aim to raise awareness about issues women face in pregnancy and childbirth.
The star explained to Red Magazine earlier this month that her own experience when giving birth to children, Grace, 12 and Finn, 9 inspired her to help others.
'I experienced complications myself after I delivered my daughter, Grace, and I guess my own experience of childbirth was the epiphany,' she explained.
Awareness: Christy was competing in her fourth marathon, and revealed that her friend George Clooney has promised to run in London next year if she completed the race in under four hours
'What I realised was actually how lucky I had been. So many women don't even get to choose when they become pregnant. They don't get to choose how many children they have. They don't get to choose whether they will be medicated, or have a natural birth. This is just how it is, and it's not an ideal way to bring life into the world, I don't think.'
The model, who has run three marathons previously, added that her children have inspired her to complete another gruelling race.
'I actually feel stronger and healthier than ever. Giving birth was probably the most empowering thing I've ever done physically. I was like, now I can do anything. I can run a marathon… I can run three marathons!'
Motivation: The mum of two is raising awareness for her mother and baby charity which she founded five years ago
She did it! Christy flashed a huge smile as she crossed the finish line in the heart of London
The star has added inspiration as she's also revealed that her friend George Clooney has promised to run the London Marathon next year, wearing one of her charity's t-shirts, if she finishes today's run in under four hours.
Speaking about the challenge, she laughed: 'Thinking about George running a marathon and having a good night's sleep before the race will help my time.
'The moment I cross the line, I want to go for a pint.'
David and Victoria Beckham's 12-year-old son Romeo competed in the children's three mile race earlier in the day, while Chris Evans and Jenni Falconer are among the celebs running the main marathon.
It's real! The model checked her medal was the real deal as she gave the crowd a big thumbs up
Congrats: The mum of two looked emotional as she finished the race on Sunday afternoon
Family support: David and Victoria Beckham and their sons Cruz and Brooklyn cheered on Romeo as he competed in the children's race at the London Marathon on Sunday
