Be sleek and sexy like Eva in Roland Mouret

The petite Eva Longoria is always the one to watch on the red carpet. While she's known to play it safe, her style is timeless perfection.

This time around, she wore a sensible Roland Mouret dress to the premiere of her new movie. Don't be fooled by the simpleness of her little black dress. Although the silhouette is sleek and fitted, the off shoulder bands and origami pleats on the neckline are new takes to contemporary LBDs.

While Roland Mouret dresses are a favorite on the red carpet, Eva's approach of matching her dress with black pumps and keeping her hair slick straight is what makes her stand out.

Eva's beau Antonio, aged 45, wore a blue blazer with matching trousers, a white button-down shirt and brown-grey Oxfords.

The actress and the president of Latin American media giant Televisa have been a romantic item for more than a year.

While outside the venue, the Golden Globe nominee appeared to be explaining directions to her beau ahead of taking the stage inside the SVA Theater alongside Parks And Recreation actress Retta, who was promoting her film Versus.

Eva executive produced and directed Go Sebastian Go! - about 11-year-old Sebastien de la Cruz, whose rendition of the national anthem before Game three of the 2013 NBA Finals ignited a firestorm of racist tweets.

Clad in a mariachi costume, Sebastian - who was born and raised in San Antonio - was the subject of hate-fueled abuse on social media for his proud display of his Mexican heritage.

Many of them branded him 'illegal' and took aim at his outfit.

Speaking to KENS-5, the boy showed wisdom far beyond his years. He said of his critics: 'With the racist remarks, it was just people - how they were raised. My father and my mama told me you should never judge people by how they look.'

The fifth grade student previously appeared on America's Got Talent and was tapped to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the basketball game after country singer Darius Rucker canceled at the last minute.

Following the national controversy on the night of his performance, he was invited the next day to perform again. However his reception from observers on social media took a far more supportive tone.

And it was Eva who was one of his biggest cheerleaders on that day. She tweeted: 'As a Mexican-American, I am so proud of Sebastien De La Cruz, a great symbol of what America is today!'
