2010 to 2020 is the decade of the eyebrow. 

These days, that are a multitude of brushes, gels, tweezers, pencils and pens at your disposal to make brows as big as possible. 

British supermodel Cara Delevingne is being credited with spearheading the new obsession, with her impressive facial caterpillars now seen as one of the most desired celebrity features to possess.

But while we are all now striving for bushy perfection, there is a long history of women adapting their eyebrows to suit the fashion of the time. 

In the 1920s, women went to the trouble of creating sad faces, by drawing on eyebrows that angled downwards. 

In the 1950s, caterpillars  were in mode thanks to stars like Audrey Hepburn, who embraced her power brows. 

While many women are still trying to recover from the aggressively plucked style of the 90s,and the Scouse brow of recent years.
