She was known for her role as curvy Summer Quinn on Baywatch in the 1990s, but now Nicole Eggert is apparently drowning in debt.

The 43-year-old star, who filed for bankruptcy in September 2013, has sold her three-bedroom, two-bath home in Los Angeles' Studio City area to help pay the increasing debts.

Nicole got $1.15 million for the home, most of which will help to pay off the $805,000 she still owes on the mortgage, according to TMZ.

Massive debt: Former Baywatch star Nicole Eggert - who appeared on Botched last Tuesday - is said to have sold her LA home for $1.15m to help pay massive debt after filing for bankruptcy in 2013

The mother-of-two, who originally bought the home for $835,000, filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy which allows an individual to avoid liquidation and the subsequent foreclosure on their property.

TMZ reported that this year Nicole asked a judge to let her place the home on the market to pay off her debt and start anew, and the judge said yes on April 8.

Nicole appeared on last Tuesday's episode of E!'s Botched which showed her consulting Dr Terry Dubrow and his associate Dr Paul Nassif to take her down to a B cup after undergoing multiple breast augmentation surgeries over the years.

Swimming pool: Nicole proved she could swim both on Baywatch in the 1990s and when she recently placed second on the swim competition reality show Splash!

Amenities: The home has three bedrooms, two baths and a spacious living room

The former sex symbol nodded emphatically when Dr Nassif asked whether she understood the implications, such as scarring.

As Nicole explained on the program: 'It's something I definitely want done if it's done right, but I've had such bad luck that I'm scared to death to make it worse.'

Nicole, who played Summer Quinn on Baywatch, was once one of the hottest blondes on TV thanks to her role as a curvy lifeguard in the series.

Since that hit show went off the air in 2001, she has struggled to find stability.

And three years ago, she debuted not only a rounder figure but also revealed she had serious financial problems.

She has been hard at work battling the bulge, but a high point came when she recently placed second on ABC's celebrity diving show Splash!
