Ed Sheeran calls himself 'fat' while tucking into Subway as he reveals his dramatic 26kg weight loss on 60 Minutes Australia
He's the shy Brit who speaks through his mesmerising and romantic lyrics.
But on Sunday's episode of 60 Minutes, Ed Sheeran chose some rather risqué words to describe his unmistakable look.
The 24-year-old hung out with 60 Minutes reporter Peter Stefanovic during the Perth leg of his world tour, and the pair quickly found themselves at a fast food chain discussing body issues.
Before and after: Ed Sheeran told Peter Stefanovic he was once much-larger than his now slender self saying: 'I've lost a lot of weight. I was 15 stone (95kg) and now I'm 11 (69kg)...'
'Just a normal lad': The British singer sat down for a candid chat with 60 Minutes reporter Mr Stefanovic on Sunday
Sharing a back seat as they cruised the city's streets, Pete boasted about Ed's ability to stay grounded in a world where he's a superstar.
'One of the secrets to his success is that he's just a normal London lad,' Peter told viewers after the singer suggested they pull into a Subway restaurant for a bite to eat.
'Are you going to go and get it yourself?' he asked the redhead, shocked that someone of his caliber would dare feed themselves.
'No five-star catering or silver service for Ed!'

Famished: 'One of the secrets to his success is that he's just a normal London lad,' Pete told viewers after the singer suggested they pull into a Subway restaurant for a bite to eat
As the pair entered the empty franchise, Pete was still shocked that he's standing in a Subway beside Ed who is ready to order: 'This dovetails into Ed Sheeran, a man of the people right?'
Possibly bewildered by Pete's constant remarks about him being shockingly 'normal', the British crooner replied: No, just Ed Sheeran, fat c*** I think.'
Roaring with laughter at Ed's explicit choice of wording, the journalist looked into the camera and fanned the flames chiming: 'Fat man, fat man!'

Bringing the laughs: Roaring with laughter at Ed's explicit choice of wording, the journalist looked into the camera and fanned the flames: 'Fat man, fat man!'
'You're not even fat, what are you talking about?'
But Ed begged to differ, telling him he was once much larger than his now slender self: 'I've lost a lot of weight. I was 15 stone (95kg) and now I'm 11 (69kg)...'
As Peter stared blankly at the Thinking Out Loud Singer, Ed continued ordering his white bread 'footlong sub' smothered in ham, cheese, jalapenos and olives.
'Helping this weight loss is a gruelling schedule,' the presenter explained before the pair set off once again with a high calorie lunch in hand to prepare for the evening ahead.

A week ago it was announced he would return Down Under at the end of November for four performances.
Ed will first play for his Brisbane fans in the city's Suncorp Stadium on November 28 before moving to Perth's NIB Stadium on December 2.
From there he'll jet to Melbourne for a December 5 show at AAMI Park before finishing up his tour for good at Sydney's Allianz Stadium on December 9.
His previous stint Down Under kicked off on March 20 and concluded on April 12.
During that time he played 13 shows and even filmed a guest appearance on iconic Aussie soapie Home And Away.
