Is this the grossest toy ever? 'Incredible Edibles Fright Factory' will allow kids to 'slurp brains,' 'drink alien blood' and 'lick gooey guts'

While parents have been known to deter kids from playing with their food and eating bugs - or brains for that matter - one toy is expected to be a holiday hit for encouraging just that.

Incredible Edibles Fright Factory will allow kids to 'slurp brains,' 'drink alien blood' and 'lick gooey guts', according to manufacturer JAKKS Pacific.

And parents may be frightened themselves to know - the game tops Toys'R'Us' list of top holiday trends.

Karen Dodge, Senior Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer, Toys'R'Us, U.S., said the company used 'various methods of testing and tapping into the extensive knowledge of all our toy resources' to identify top trends of today's kids 'now that Christmas is mere months away'.

And apparently the gooey game was at the top of the list.

'Kids will drool' over the laboratory set, according to a company description of the game, which says it makes 'delicious goodies' in gummy form of body parts including 'bio brains, gooey guts and fizzing alien blood'.

Sticky treats can be made in various sugary flavours, including apple, strawberry and grape.

But its not the only one that may have adults gagging. Another game called The Trash Pack, including 'Tiny, squishy garbage-themed characters named after the icky, stinky delights found in the trash', such as Mucky Maggot, Rankenstein, Smelly Sock also ranked high, next to Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker Creation Station - a game which allows kids to create spiders, beetles, maggots and frogs, to lizards, sea creatures, zombies to 'scare off siblings and friends'.

The toys joined Doctor Dreadful Zombie Drink Lab from Spin Master - a 'mad scientist lab' that includes a faux syringe, brain molded beaker, 'zombie head gear' that make 'repulsively yummy' treats.

Fortunately, top holiday trends aren't all that gross.

Others, according to Toys'R'Us, include 'app-cessories' and 'reverse technology' for tech-savvy kids, who want to play games like Mario Kart or Angry Birds, or draw on their electronic devises. 'Quirky Stuffed Characters', including more traditional Plush toys, also made the list.
