Excited Suri Cruise screams for ice-cream on an adventurous day out with Katie Holmes
With her father busy on set of his latest action movie, it was a girls' day out for the always adorable Suri Cruise in Boston yesterday.
The three-year-old enjoyed an adventure packed day with Katie Holmes and her maternal grandmother Katherine.
Shopping, skipping and an ice-cream treat was on the agenda for the littlest Cruise, who took on the day with youthful gusto.

So excited: Suri shows her enthusiasm as she picks out her favourite flavour
She seemed particularly thrilled as they stopped at a gelati shop
and even dived over the counter to point out her favourite flavour.
She was all dressed up in a pink cardigan, rah-rah skirt and leopard print ballet slippers.
It seems Suri has inherited her mother's - and her father's - enthusiasm for fashion.
Katie revealed in a new interview this week that Tom considers himself is something of a sartorial expert in their household.

Too cute: The adorable three-year-old showed off her sweet smile
In the November issue of Elle, the 30-year-old says Cruise, 47, often critiques her clothes.
'He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that,' Katie tells the magazine. 'Tom has great taste.'
Presumably with her husband's approval, she has now settled on a few key favourites when it comes to her wardrobe.
'I love Alaïa, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it’s very American, and I’m pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron.'

Katie also spoke about juggling work with motherhood, particularly while she was performing on Broadway in All My Sons.
'Suri would sit in my lap in the makeup chair. She’d hand the wig lady the bobby pins.'
'In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do
what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And
it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a
character.'
Katie, along with her daughter, returned to the US after a stint in Australia earlier this month where she filmed the thriller Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.
The family are currently based in Massachusetts while Tom works on his new film, Wichita.
