The 39-year-old Wild star didn't miss a beat as she hit up the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles for breakfast with another fashionable accessory slung over her arm.

Reese's orange leather tote brightened up her sporty outfit that consisted of faded denim jeans, light blue plaid blouse and green jacket, and perfectly matched the slim belt wound around her waist.

In fact, she seemed to have business already in mind as she left the quaint outdoor shopping centre.

Reese and Sofia's film Hot Pursuit, which bows in US theatres on May 8, is about a bumbling police officer (Reese) who must protect the widow of a drug dealer (Sofia) from criminals and dirty policemen.

The odd pair find themselves on the run and having to engage in all sorts of deception in order to make it safely to the Dallas courtroom.

When asked about their first impressions of each other, Sofia told Entertainment Weekly, 'I thought that she was so pretty!'

When asked whether they've stayed in touch since filming ended, Reese said, 'She texted me at one of the awards shows and told me my boobs looked good.'

Sofia added: 'She was wearing a very risky [sic] dress, and I thought she needed to know.'

Reese continued: 'I kept the text, a screen shot of it, and sent it to my husband. When Sofia Vergara says your boobs look good, you know you've arrived.'
