Jennie Garth got engaged to actor David Abrams earlier this month after a whirlwind courtship.

It seemed the couple had gone straight to honeymoon phase as they packed on the public display of affection on a Los Angeles golf course recently.

Jennie, 43, put her putter aside to caress and kiss her tall, bearded man who responded by giving her a big, warm hug right there on the green.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star smiled with glee while wrapping her arms closer around David's neck.

The pair proceeded to make out right there in front of anyone who happened to whiz by on golf carts.

Jennie and David did manage to get in a few good swings on the course when they weren't hugging, kissing and patting each other's bums.

The lovebirds have been enjoying their romance ever since they started dating in December.

It was reported on April 9 that Jennie and David had gotten engaged, and the actress' representative confirmed the pair's good news to MailOnline.

A source close to the couple also told People magazine that David had been planning to propose for some time.

'Dave had been working on this for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect,' the source explained.

The engagement comes less than a month after her ex-husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli, confirmed his engagement to his actress girlfriend Jaimie Alexander.

Jennie and Peter, 41, tied the knot in 2001 and got divorced in 2013; they share three children together - Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and eight-year-old Fiona.

Peter and Jaimie revealed their own happy news in mid-March.
