The Suzhou Eagle Carrie (right) was marketed as an all-electric sports car which is capable of 0-62mph in just 4.8 seconds, when it was unveiled at a car show in Shanghai. But on closer inspection the car looks remarkably similar to the European supercars, combining the front headlights of a Ferrari California (top left) with the distinctive body and rear of a Porsche Cayman (bottom left). Even the Carrie's red, yellow and black badge has unmistakable similarities to the logo found on the front of a Porsche (inset), and experts have branded it 'a pastiche of the worst kind.'

Canadian photographer, Benjamin Von Wong, 28, captured incredible images of a model appearing to sport huge fiery angel wings using just a smartphone and some pyrotechnics in a fantastical European-style location in Shanghai. The video, uploaded by a YouTube user believed to be located in Russia, shows the fluffy grey cat's several attempts - and fails - to get into the bowl, before it finally succeeds with all four paws and its head inside it. A swift move in the bowl, and the tail fits in as well, the cat lying snugly in its new hideout. However, judging by the look the cat gives its owner from inside the bowl, it quickly had second thoughts about its less-than-roomy glass nest.

Rebecca Dinsdale, 31, from Somerset, was born with brittle bone disease and doctors warned she would never sit up or walk unaided, and would be lucky to live beyond the age of two. She was born with every bone in her body broken, and over the years has suffered hundreds of fractures - some being triggered by an act as simple as a sneeze. The condition prompted Mrs Dinsdale's parents Patsy and Andrew Dixon to nickname their daughter, their 'china doll'. And it was with a huge burst of pride that Mr Dixon walked his daughter down the aisle on her big day. It was the furthest the 3ft 7in bride had ever walked without her zimmer-frame supporting her.
