Formula One is on verge of losing its soul and needs to be made more exciting, warns Silverstone chief 

Silverstone chiefs are pleading with Bernie Ecclestone to improve the spectacle of Formula One or risk losing its soul - despite the fact the Northamptonshire circuit is expecting record-breaking figures this year. The 2015 race at the venue will be the fifth in a 17-year deal currently at £11.5million a year, a figure that will rise year-on-year.

Some of the trophies stolen from Formula One team Red Bull's factory have been found dumped in a lake, it has been revealed. More than 60 trophies were stolen after a gang of six men used a vehicle to ram the front entrance of the team's building in Milton Keynes at around 1.30am on December 6. Thames Valley Police said that around 20 of the prizes were recovered from Horseshoe Lake near Sandhurst Monday after being spotted by a member of the public.
