And as David Hasselhoff and his girlfriend Hayley Roberts stepped out for coffee on Monday, they certainly looked like any other loved-up couple.

The 62-year-old star and his Welsh girlfriend, 33, stopped for a drink at a Starbucks in Calabasas, California, with the pair coordinating in dressed down looks.

David Hasselhoff and girlfriend Hayley Roberts stepped out for a coffee at a Starbucks Monday in Calabasas, California, with Roberts sporting a pair of high-top wedges we would like to get our hands on. She paired them with a pair of blue cropped drawstring joggers and a white wisp of a tank top. But we can see them walking tall in more urban settings, paired with sleek leggings and a blazer or this season's ever-growing-in-popularity short-suit.

Comfort and ease is, of course, the chief reason to snap up a pair of wedge sneakers. But we've even heard of brides sneaking them underneath wedding gowns. Designers are responding in kind, decking them out in jewels or crystals to fit the occasion.

The Hoff paired some long shorts with a white tee and blazer as he enjoyed the sunny afternoon.

With trainers and a US flag baseball cap finishing off his look, the star walked side by side with Hayley, who looked as though she'd just come from a work out in her cropped blue trousers and a printed vest.

The couple star in a new documentary about their relationship, which aired on BBC One Wales in the UK on Monday night.

Hayley and The Hoff follows the couple as the Welsh beauty brings her boyfriend home for Christmas with her family.

The happy couple first started dating back in 2011 during a night out in Cardiff.

Hayley, who worked as a sales assistant in Debenhams at the time, approached the star for a photograph while he was in town filming Britain's Got Talent.

David suavely responded by agreeing to having his picture taken so long as she gave him her phone number. A few days later, the pair enjoyed their first date and have pretty much been inseparable ever since.

Speaking to the BBC ahead of the documentary though, David revealed that it's been hard for them both to adjust to the public fascination with their romance.

'It was a difficult decision [to make the programme]', the star says, adding that he was keen to explain to Hayley's family '"I just want to date your daughter."'

'I felt bad about even bringing the cameras to her house. Once we cleared it with her family, then we had her brother-in-law JP shoot it - and he wanted to shoot it - it was fun, like home movies.'

It was when David was invited to spend Christmas with Hayley's family, that he says they really bonded. 'They'd got over the TV star stuff to a point and have kind of enjoyed getting to meet me as a person. We watched Notting Hill the other night and it was the same story!' he laughs.
