David Beckham's BFF Dave Gardner looks EXHAUSTED following Soul Cycle class while the sports star is remarkably fresh

He's a huge fan of Soul Cycle and nothing can keep David Beckham from his favourite exercise class... not even jet lag.

The 39-year-old retired soccer star - who will turn 40 in just a few days - brought his best pal Dave Gardner along to a class in Brentwood on Tuesday, the day after he had flown in from London.

David's indoor cycling classes are certainly keeping him fit and he looked to be in incredible shape as he left the building in a pair of shorts and a vest which displayed his vast array of tattoos but his friend appeared exhausted.

Beckham carried his boots in his hand and wore a backwards baseball cap as he made his way to his car.

Although his top was drenched in sweat, he didn't appear to be too tired from his exercise.

Dave however, was red in the face and appeared exhausted after the tough workout.

While David was in LA, his wife Victoria was spotted out and about in London but he wasn't alone as he was accompanied by sports agent Dave, his best pal and Liv Tyler's rumoured fiance.

Dave recently spent the weekend in London with Liv and their son Sailor, who was born in February.

Liv, 37, jetted in from New York to see Dave and on Sunday, they took Dave's seven-year-old son Gray for a walk in the woods after which proud Dave took to Instagram to share the moment.

His snap shows the trio holding hands as they pose in the midst of picturesque bluebells and he captioned it: 'Blue Bell Woods !!!! Beautiful weekend @misslivalittle x'

Gray - whose mother is Dave's ex wife Davinia Taylor - looked delighted to be spending time with Liv.

There was no sign of baby Sailor or Liv's 10-year-old son Milo, whose father is her former husband Royston Langdon.

Fit at 40: The hunk is set to turn 40 in just a few days and he is quite clearly getting better looking with age

Liv and London-based Dave started dating in early 2014 after apparently being introduced by mutual friend Kate Moss.

However, their romance only became public knowledge last summer, with Liv's pregnancy being revealed soon after.

Although the pair spend a lot of time together, their respective elder sons' schooling in the UK and US meant they aren't always able to live together full-time.

Liv has son Milo with her ex husband Royston Langdon.

Meanwhile, Dave and David are so close that it has been claimed that Beckham will be godfather to Sailor.

A report by The Sun claimed that the former England skipper was hand-picked by the sports agent and actress - who welcomed their youngster into the world just two months ago.
