Fashion Police rubbed off on her! Kathy Griffin looks chic in teal dress as she hits the carpet for Ride premiere in LA

Kathy Griffin wasn't shy when it came to dishing out fashion criticism when she filled in for the late Joan Rivers as host of E!'s Fashion police - before quitting in March.

And it looks like her stint may have rubbed off on her, as the 54-year-old looked stunning as she stepped out for the Ride premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

She showed off her trim figure in a gorgeous patterned frock as she hit the carpet alongside stars such as Helen Hunt, Anne Heche, and Emily VanCamp.

Kathy looked lovely as she arrived at the carpet in a sleek teal gown with a water color floral pattern throughout the bodice.

The form-fitting sleeveless gown showed off the comedienne's slim frame, and she accessorized it with a pair of classic nude pumps.

She finished off the look with a coordinating beige clutch, but otherwise opted to keep her accessories simple.

She wore her long red locks styled in loose curls, and kept her make-up simple, save for a pink lipstick.

The friendly star was spotted stopping to sign autographs for fans before she made her way into the theater.

Earlier in the day she had taken to Twitter to get her fans' opinion on her ensemble for the evening, using app Periscope to live-stream the process of getting ready.

'Might need your help picking out a dress for a movie premiere tonight! I'll be on #Periscope soon!' she wrote.
