Orlando Bloom proved his hat game is strong on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old actor looked super cool in a navy fedora as he and a male pal strutted around New York City's Soho neighbourhood.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star looked hipster chic, also clad in a white T-shirt, dark denim button-down, and blue zip-vest.

He teamed his tops with faded greyish blue jeans and added a pop of colour with crimson shoes.

The English hunk completed his look with petite retro-inspired sunglasses and carried a tan leather jacket in case the weather cooled down.

The pair were seen shopping at a hat store, in addition to eyewear retailer, Oliver Peoples.

As well as staying on top of fashion trends, earlier this year, the actor revealed that he’d like to break into the music industry too.

The father-of-one, who was previously married to Miranda Kerr, attended the BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena in London in February, where he jokingly revealed he plans to make a career switch.

Orlando quipped: 'The acting thing wasn't working out so well, so I thought I'd give music a go.'

The Lord Of The Rings star revealed himself to be a huge fan of British act Ed Sheeran, after the Thinking Out Loud hitmaker contributed to the theme of one of his films.

He told The Sun newspaper: 'I worked with him on The Hobbit so I have a soft spot for him.'

Meanwhile, Ed recently revealed that he hopes Orlando would date his showbiz pal Taylor Swift.

Ed said: 'He's [Orlando's] lovely, and they live in the same building [in New York City]. [I'm hoping] the magic might present itself eventually.'

However, the union seems unlikely after Orlando decided to sell his fourth-floor, three-bedroom loft in Tribeca, New York City, just six months after he bought it.

Orlando splashed out $4.88 million on the property, which is next door to Taylor's home in the city.

Taylor has also currently been reported to be dating DJ Calvin Harris.
