Chantelle Houghton recently revealed that her mission to lose weight has been going pretty well.

So it came as no surprise to onlookers when the 31-year-old was spotted out and about in Essex on Saturday proudly showing off her slimline figure.

The Celebrity Big Brother star highlighted her petite frame with a pair of skintight ripped jeans and a form-fitting black turtle neck.

She completed her look with a stylish white coat and a pair of animal print pumps.

With her dark tresses worn up in a scruffy bun, the star sported a face plastered in makeup as she hit the shops.

She was joined on the afternoon out by her three-year-old daughter Dolly and a female pal.

Opening up in hew new! column earlier on in the week, Chantelle revealed that she was shocked with her recent weight-loss.

'I actually weighed myself recently and was surprised to see I've lost more weight, as I've slacked off with my training a bit,' she admitted.

The reality beauty added that she now weighs a healthy 10st but is hoping to lose a further 7lbs by venturing on another week at boot camp.

She said: 'I've been before and lost 8lbs in a week. When I'm there, I hate it and every time I go I say "never again", but then I find myself going back.'

Chantelle also revealed that she has made the drastic decision to have her breast implants removed.

Having long been unhappy with her boob job, she said: 'Last week I had a consultation.

'I've been told it can be done, although they did warn me about the scarring and tried to prepare me mentally for what my chest will look like afterwards.

'I think I am going to do it in May. I don't want to wait for the whole summer to go and then be wearing jumpers again.

'I'm not sure what size I will be after surgery because I'm having them taken out completely, so I've just got to wait and see.'
