Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just roll with it as they are forced to WAIT outside for table at sushi restaurant for 30 minutes

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West failed to get the VIP treatment on Thursday night when they rolled up to a sushi restaurant... and were forced to WAIT for 30 minutes for a table.

The couple arrived to Shibuya Sushi in Calabasas following Kim's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the hope of grabbing a quite bite to eat.

The restaurant was packed, however, and so just like any regular customer, the couple were told to get in line.

How does Kim Kardashian do it? The reality star has got a signature look and a few favorite designer labels, yet she always manages to surprise us with her style.

The promotional trail for her new book Selfish has started and she has clearly been saving some of her best outfits. This time she showed off her famous figure by wearing a sheer pleated maxi skirt, which hails from Balmain's Spring 2015 collection.

Kimye, who had turned up in their new Rolls-Royce Phantom, were pictured sat outside on a bench; Kim, 34, appeared unfazed, even smiling, while Kanye, 37, struck one of his customary sulky faces.

When they were finally seated, they were given a table right by the window - hardly the choicest in house.

At least their journey home would have been quick as the pair live in Calabasas and in the same gated community as Kim's mother Kris Jenner.

Kim was dressed in the plunging ensemble she wore for her TV appearance hours earlier; a revealing black waistcoat, teamed with a sheer pleated skirt and tuxedo jacket.

During the interview Kim - whose daughter Nori turns two years old in June - discussed step father Bruce Jenner's recent admission that he is in the process of transitioning into a woman.

She told Kimmel that Bruce was happy after going public, saying: 'He is so happy. I think it's the sense of relief from all the amazing support he's felt.

'I said whatever you do, do not steal my glam team,' the reality star joked, referencing her hair and make-up squad.

Bruce, 65, during his tell-all interview on Friday with ABC's Diane Sawyer revealed that he 'is a woman' and was in the process of transitioning.

The 1976 Olympics gold-medal winner told Diane that Kim out of everyone had been the most accepting and easiest to talk to about his decision after an enlightening talk from her husband Kanye West.

She was appearing on the show to promote her new selfie book, Selfish.

On Monday Kim and Kanye will be in New York for the annual Meg Gala, before she takes part in a book signing on Tuesday.
