You're never too old for a birthday balloon, or at least that's what Poppy Delevingne thought on Sunday when she was spotted in New York holding one.

The model was looking in good spirits as she celebrated turning 29 with her husband James Cook.

The happy couple were showing off their classic style with Poppy sporting a cute combo of shorts and a crop top.

Poppy's look had a somewhat American vibe to match her holiday with the striped fabric hinting at a baseball uniform.

She showed off her long legs and a glimpse of midriff as she teamed the co-ordinated outfit with a pair of cream converse trainers and a pale blue denim jacket. 

Keeping her hair down and loose, she went for a natural beauty look with minimal make-up and dark sunglasses.

It was her 29th birthday, and Poppy Delevingne certainly celebrated in style!

The model busted some moves at a charity fete in New York wearing a stripe top and shorts combo, which she teamed with some Converse trainers. It's not exactly your average birthday little black dress but we love the look.

Whilst her wardrobe is full of designer labels like Chanel, Burberry and Stella McCartney, her loose-fitting crop top and shorts are actually by Glamorous. The Manchester-based brand offers budget-friendly fashion and can count the likes of Sam Faiers, Millie Mackintosh and the Little Mix ladies as fans.

She kept a tight grip on her husbands arms as he called for a taxi for the pair of them.

Her businessman husband was looking similarly stylish in an outfit of jeans and a light grey shirt.

He teamed the classic outfit with a black trilby hat and a pair of dark sunglasses as he hailed a cab for the birthday girl.

Earlier in the day Poppy's sister Cara posted a collage of pictures of herself and her sister with a set of loving messages.

She wrote, ‘Happy birthday POP SOP @poppydelevingne I love you so much, you make my world brighter.

‘I can't explain in words how much you mean to me so I will try later using expressive dance’.
