Star Wars Day was celebrated with the release of three new characters' names.
The names of Lupita Nyong’o, Adam Driver and Gwendoline Christie's personas in the highly-anticpated film were all released with details about each one.
According to Vanity Fair, 12 Years' A Slave beauty Lupita will star in The Force Awakens as Maz Kanata.

While Josh, who directed the 2012 sci-fi movie Chronicle, has stated that he wishes to pursue other projects, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed that the film-maker was fired from Star Wars.

Ford can be seen alongside a slew of other original stars, with whom he appeared in Star Wars episodes IV, V, and VI, the first of which debuted in 1977.
The Force Awakens also features original stars Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2).
Other newcomers to the film franchise, joining Ridley and Boyega, are Adam Driver, Lupita

The second Star Wars trilogy, consisting of episodes I, II, and III, was made after IV, V, and VI, with the first hitting theatres in 1999 and the third in 2005.
The Force Awakens is being directed by J.J. Abrams, who was 11-years-old when Star Wars was first released.
