Pregnant Jaime King dresses down after Met Gala fashion success in ripped jeans and a stylish hat for family outing

The morning after the Met Gala, pregnant Jaime King looked fresh as a daisy as she stepped out in New York with husband Kyle Newman and their young son.

The actress opted for casual and comfortable, wearing a pair of jeans, an off- white sweater and a white floppy hat along with a pair of low-heeled shoes.

It was a far cry from the glamorous strapless Jason Wu For Hugo Boss gown that she wore Monday night but no doubt a more congenial outfit for the 36-year-old who's expecting her second child.

The Hart Of Dixie star  left a long blonde hair loose, like she did for the gala, as she went for a stroll around town with her family.

Her makeup was flawless with carefully drawn brows, blusher and a splash of pink lipstick.

The actress carried an orange clutch purse and a plastic bottle of water and was also spotted talking on her gold-covered phone.

She left the heavy pushing to her director husband who kept two hands firmly on son James' stroller.

On Monday evening, Jaime had look simply stunning as she showed off her burgeoning baby bump on the Met Gala red carpet.

She even managed to carry off some matching satin high heels although she did tweet her dismay at the number of steps she'd have to go up to get into the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

'WAIT?!!!! HOW MANY STEPS DO I HAVE TO WALK UP PREGNANT IN HEELS?!!!' she said on Instagram.
