FashionWeek at Bourbon Park - the name, no doubt, a play on Bryant Park, the previous home of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York - held its first round of shows April 8-11.

Bourbon Park, despite its catchy name, isn't a real place. The shows were held at the Hilton New Orleans Airport Hotel in Kenner and featured clothing by DYME Empire of Atlanta, LED Apparel of Atlanta, Julius LaCour of Chicago, Sharrari Couture of Dallas, Kirstie Morris of Australia, ImaniLia NYC, Pretty Birdie of South Carolina, ZSEGA of Los Angeles, Reign of St. Louis, Nisza of New York, Suzanne Lay of St. Louis. Nwakaego Odigwe of Atlanta and Dallas, Phalon Deshun Couture of Fort Worth, Mocca Couture of Houston, Coco Bourgeosie of Dallas, Dope Clothing of Baton Rouge, Come Up Kidz and Skull de Lys, both of New Orleans, and the Fashion Institute of New Orleans.
