Further to the approval by the Federal Executive Council of the Road Map for Nigerian Companies to adopt the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) wishes to state that the adoption by 2012 of IFRS by all public companies whose securities are registered
