She looked like a million dollars as she left The Palms restaurant in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night after dinner with friends.

But in Gwen Stefani's hand was a measly $10, most likely for some overworked valet attendant.

The 45-year-old Rich Girl hit maker is reportedly worth $100m.

In her usual quirky style, the mother of three wore black spike-studded ankle boots and fishnet tights, a pair of loose green, navy any yellow tartan shorts, a black and white polka-dot blouse under a navy coat.

Her molten gold purse was clutched under her arm to finish the outfit off.

As always, her ever present vivid red lipstick corralled her gorgeous smile, framed by her trademark pale complexion and platinum blonde tresses.

But all eyes were on the baller roll of notes brandished by the star which consisted of at least five singles and even a five.

Sadly for the valet, the wad of cash didn't stay quite so fat before it made its way into his pocket. Careful so as not to overpay, Gwen appeared to frugally peel off one of a solitary $1 bill before folding the remainder into the not-so-generous tip.

At least the Hollaback Girl wasn't so stingy with her time.

As she emerged from the eatery, a number of fans approached and asked if she would pose in selfies, and she happily obliged.

Opting for an eclectic outfit to dine in Beverley Hills restaurant The Palms, Gwen Stefani donned green plaid culottes, a monochrome polka dot shirt and a blue coat.

Gwen then accessorised her look with fishnet tights, embellished ankle boots and a gold clutch bag.

Whilst we admire Gwen’s bold fashion statement, we can’t say we’ll be copying her any time soon.

That said, we are seriously coveting this gold clutch bag. Oversized, metallic, and slouchy, it ticks all of this season's arm candy boxes.

The was no sign of the family on Wednesday, with rocker husband Gavin Rossdale obviously stuck at home for the night with their three boys Kingston, aged eight, Zuma, aged six and one-year-old Apollo.

The No Doubt frontwoman was certainly making the most of her day off: earlier in the day she was spotted heading out solo for a relaxing session of acupuncture.

Channeling Sandy from Grease, Stefani looked amazing in tight black wax leather-look jeans, black turtleneck and black and white strappy booties.

The mother of of three is clearly enjoying her time off, having been replaced after her single season stint as a judge on The Voice. She handed her spot back to original judge Christina Aguilera who had been on a two-season hiatus.

Between them and season 4/6 judge Shakira, there has never been a female winning coach of the talent show.

The free time is also allowing the Gwen to put the finishing touches on her forthcoming album, her first solo release since The Sweet Escape in 2006.

Sia, Calvin Harris, Ryan Tedder, and Charlie XCX and among her collaborates on the as yet unnamed album, due for release later this year.
