Curvaceous reality queen Kim Kardashian isn't afraid to leave the house with a bit of flesh on show.

The 34-year-old turned heads in a custom-made Peter Dundas gown last week while attending the Met Gala in New York.

The glamorous nude silk tulle dress was embroidered with crystals, sequins and bugle beads.

It was finished with a dramatic train of ivory ostrich feathers.

With just a smattering of diamantes covering her privates, Kim wore a pair of Spanx in place of traditional briefs to banish unsightly visible pant lines and to help slim her silhouette.

Figure-changing brand Spanx was launched  by American Sara Blakely in 2000 after she tried to track down body-sculpting yet comfortable lingerie.

Copy Kim's cameo in Cavalli in a white sheer embellished gown

She’s a fashion devotee to her favorite designers Givenchy and Balmain, but Kim Kardashian is continuing to dip her toes into the style world and has made her first debut in Roberto Cavalli for the 2015 Met Gala. And we didn't think we'd see so much of her.

Reminiscent of Beyonce's 2012 Met Gala appearance in a semi sheer Givenchy gown which made headlines, Kim made it clear it was her time to shine in the intricately created crystal and feather embellished creation designed by Peter Dundas who has returned to the helm of Cavalli.

And since it’s her first time wearing the Italian brand, we think she’s done a great job of pulling off the dramatic feather-train dress in synchrony with the evening’s oriental theme. That’s two birds with one stone, for you!

Designed to flatter her hourglass figure with its form-fitting design and see-through inserts in all of the right places, Dundas made sure Kim winged it at tonight's Met Gala, and it's one of the best looks we've seen on her to date thanks to its manic simplicity.

Sadly, Kim's dress is not available to buy since it's past season, but you can shop Cavalli's current collection at Net-a-Porter (click right) or check out our favorite white sheer maxi dresses in the edit below.

The super-tight control underwear, which is loved by Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller and Jessica Alba, smooths out lumps and bumps by compressing the body.

In a preview episode of her family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashian, Kanye West's wife Kim admitted: 'I'm so insecure lately, just with my weight. I cannot leave the house without Spanx.'

Beyonce's gold Riccardo Tisci frock was also a major talking point with bloggers questioning whether the Givenchy designer had built a body into the 33-year-old's dress to save her wearing lingerie.

Meanwhile, across the pond The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes appeared to embrace the commando trend at last night's BAFTAs.

The 26-year-old Brit dazzled in a Zeynep Kartal garment, which seemed to show off most of her slender frame despite swathes of floaty fabric.
