She is as well known for her trademark wig as she is for her mind-blowing singing voice.

And while Australian singer Sia Furler usually makes sure her face is well hidden under the blonde mega-bob wig before anyone sees her, she was spotted in the act of putting on her stage look just moments before her performance at the KIIS FM Wango Tango festival on Sunday.

The Adelaide born star could be seen with her real peroxide hair scraped back into a high bun as she held the disguise in her hands just before getting her stage groove on.

The 39-year-old understandably needs to put the wig on right at the last moment since she has limited vision once the blonde hair is covering her face.

She appeared to be wearing little makeup except for her regular strong red lipstick since her lips are usually the most visible part of her face once the wig is on her head. 

The incredible performer entertained in a dramatic black costume featuring a dress with a giant ruffled skirt at the event which was headlined by Kanye West.

The rapper's 'mom' Kris Jenner and step-sister-in-law Kendall Jenner also attended. 

It also featured Taylor Swift's rumoured boyfriend Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, David Guetta, Jason Derulo, Sia, Ne-Yo, Echosmith, Lunchmoney Lewis, Fifth Harmony, Tori Kelly and Natalie LaRose. 

Meanwhile Justin Bieber hit the stage in a baggy plaid flannel shirt, edgy black trousers, and trendy beige sneakers. 

Sia and Kanye no doubt had a fun chat back stage following her revelations about his conversational skills last month.

The singer-songwriter recently revealed to Nova 96.9's Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli during a rare interview in Sydney that Kanye can be somewhat long-winded.

'He's fascinating to have a conversation with, well, mostly you're listening, but it's fascinating,' the musician told the radio duo. 

'I rate him as a person,' she added. 'He's an ideas man.'
