An Amtrak train crashed in Philadelphia Tuesday night prompting a mass causality incident that claimed the lives of five people. Train 188 was traveling from Washington, D.C., to New York City when it crashed around 9:20pm as it went into a turn just a few miles outside of 30th Street Station. The train, which had been carrying 238 passengers and five crew members at the time of the crash, had all seven cars derail - some splitting in half. In addition to the fatalities, over 65 people were injured and six were in critical condition. 'This was an absolute disastrous mess,' said Mayor Michael Nutter of Philadelphia. 'I have never seen anything like it in my life.'

An 11-year-old girl and her father have been found shot to death outside their Kentucky home in what police are now calling a murder-suicide

Emergency crews responded to a report of multiple gunshot victims in Vine Grove shortly before 9pm Monday.

When officers arrived at 314 Willow Crossing Court, they camee upon the bodies of 49-year-old John Jonas and his daughter lying in the side yard of the home.

Both the father and daughter were pronounced dead on the scene from gunshot wounds.

Crews from the Vine Grove Police and Fire Departments, Kentucky State Police, Hardin County EMS and the Hardin County Coroner?s Office are investigating the shooting.

Autopsies are scheduled for this morning on Jonas and his daughter to determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Vine Grove is a city of just over 5,000 in Hardin County.

Police responded Monday night to a home in Vine Grove, Kentucky, where they discovered the bodies of John Jonas and his young daughter lying in a side yard.

New York-based artist David Parise photographs vintage versions of Barbie, Ken, and the gang in their original 1960s outfits. Penn Holderness, 40, and his wife Kim Dean, 39 (pictured), from North Carolina, shared a video of Penn 'in labor' on their YouTube channel, after the father-of-two willingly agreed to undergo the experiment in honor of Mother's Day on May 10. After just a few minutes of pain, father-of-two Penn was left screaming in agony, much to his wife's entertainment.
