Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon moved to stamp her authority over Westminster today - after slapping down a 'senior SNP source' who claimed a second independence referendum could be called without UK-wide agreement. A spokesman for Ms Sturgeon said the bombshell claim was 'totally wrong' and reiterated that there were 'no plans' for a second poll, despite last week's landslide general election victory for the SNP in Scotland. It came as Ms Sturgeon held face-to-face talks with David Cameron in Edinburgh today, demanding sweeping new powers for Holyrood. Mr Cameron travelled to the Scottish capital this morning for the first talks between the pair since last week's general election.
