A Step Back In Time! Kylie Minogue strolls through memory lane by returning to the high school she attended almost 30 years ago

She's spending much of her time in Sydney guiding contestants on The Voice Australia.

But on Thursday Kylie Minogue proved to be a mentor to more than just prospective singers when she returned to her old high school in Melbourne.

Documenting her trip down memory lane on social media, the 46-year-old graciously explained to her Instagram followers 'I was there from year 7-12! Amazing! Thanks for having me back.'

Just like the good old days! On Thursday Kyle Minogue uploaded pictures to her social media accounts of her returning to Cambwell High School, which she attended almost 30 years ago

Kylie was certainly the image of success, strolling through the school wearing a chic denim jacket dressed up with a stylish skirt and a white winter jacket hanging off of her shoulders.

She posted a picture to Twitter of her where the action happened all those years ago - the school courtyard, which she enthusiastically remarked was 'still the same!'

Her visit may have been for the purpose of a Sixty Minutes segment, as a student tagged her in a photo and added a 'sixtyminutes' hashtag, explaining that there were 'so many cameras.'

The popular songstress got her showbusiness start during her tenure at Cambwell, starring in 1985's The Henderson Kids while still enrolled at the school.

And she's not the only Minogue to enjoy that courtyard, as she, Dannii, who's four years younger, also attended Cambwell High.

Kylie resides in Melbourne but has been spending time in Sydney to film the live Voice Australia finals.

Things are quickly heating up on the show as next week only two of Kylie's four remaining singers will go through to the next round.

She was also up in Queensland recently shooting scenes with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for next year's blockbuster flick San Andreas.

Just Saying - She's had many interviews since that one you've mentioned. Since then she's confirmed that Australia is only temporary whilst she's filming The Voice, but that it has been wonderful to spend time with her family (the main reason she agreed to do it this year)... Once finished she'll be coming back home to London. Professionally speaking (and I mean no offence), Australia is a back water with regard to the music industry as London and LA are the world's main output centres (I work in London) for western music... She has no interest in films apart from the occasional part as she's realistic, for the foreseeable future anyway.
