Christina Milian was certainly turning up the heat on an already hot beach day in Miami, Florida, on Friday.

The 33-year-old may have been short on friends for her day in the sun but she certainly was not short on sexiness.

The Deep it Low singer initially kept her bikini body under wraps when she first arrived at her fabulous cabana wearing a pale pink tight dress.

But of course, it is always steamy in Miami, so before long she rolled up the dress - which is from label We Are Pop Culture - so that it was more of a top.

But even that was not enough to cool down the AM To PM songstress, so she took to the water solo.

The sexy little singer showed off her toned physique in Miami, Florida. It's too bad her "bae", Lil' Wayne, wasn't around to see her in all her glory! You'll catch her next time Lil' Wayne!

Looking almost like she was in the middle of a magazine shoot, Christina stripped off the dress which no doubt got a few pulses racing on the sand.

And while the dress had impressed enough, her bikini - and bikini bod - impressed even more.

While she may have glammed up her look, the singer kept her appearance natural throwing her black hair up into a high bun and wearing little make up.

So enamoured was the star with her new pal that she decided to take him for a dip.

Noticeably not with the star was boyfriend Lil Wayne, who until recently was her secret love.

Now the pair - who worked together on her track Start A Fire - have gone public in a big way.

This week the singer revealed to E! News that she had got a new tattoo that read 'Love hard... TNT'.

While she said the world would have to guess what it means, it is understood to be an ode to her love as TNT could stand for Tina and Tunechi, their nicknames.

Even though they are finally dating publicly - having been linked since last year - Christina says she still likes to keep things private.

She told E!: 'I guess I just like the mystery. think it's so sexy. I like to keep the sexiness going.'
