Now that's animal magnetism! Ryan Reynolds plants a kiss on giraffe's nose during safari park visit

Ryan Reynolds got up close and personal with an inquisitive giraffe this week - and shared the moment on Instagram. 

The 38-year-old planted a kiss on the majestic creature's nose as it peeped inside his car to eat leaves during a visit to a safari park.

'I specifically said, "no tongue,"' Ryan joked in a photo caption posted on his page on Sunday.

In another snap shared with his fans, the hunky actor said he bonded with a tortoise during his outing. 

He wrote: 'This is Brutus. He's over 110 years old. He's telling me his life story. But in real time.'

Ryan's revelry with wildlife comes as he continues to film his new movie Deadpool in his native Vancouver.

He stars in the titular role that is based on his character from X-Men Origins: Wolverine - in a spin-off of the same name. The action film is expected to hit theaters in February 2016. 

Meanwhile, The Proposal actor joined Instagram on Monday, and in his first post he shared a photo of himself clad in his Deadpool costume while performing an impressive gun-toting dive over a bullet-shot car.

'Stuck the landing. With my mouth,' he quipped in the caption. 

Ryan utilizes the photo sharing program to showcase his humor, and his efforts have so far attracted 360,000 followers.

In fact, on Thursday he used Instagram to debut the first image of his six-month-old daughter James.

Teasing his fans with only a glimpse of her little fingers touching his, he wrote: 'Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one.'

Ryan was made a father for the first time when he and his wife Blake Lively welcomed their daughter James in December last year.

The couple began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of their film Green Lantern. They married a year later.
