As with every other year, the current Cannes Film Festival has proved to be a parade of the of the glamorous and memorably outrageous when it comes to stars' sartorial selections.

And on Monday, Eva Longoria made quite the daring choice when she stepped out in a dramatic silver gown, which featured glittering sheer panels running the length of either side of her body.

As she arrived at the Palais des Festivals for the premiere of Inside Out, the actress prompted many a double take as she appeared to have gone bare under her plunging dress.

Another day, another premiere: Eva Longoria attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Inside Out at the Palais des Festivals on Monday

The frock also boasted glittering sheer long sleeves, while a solid block of grey material stretched from her bosom to her ground at the front and from the middle of her back to a train at the rear.

Thanks to the additional material, the former Desperate Housewives star, 40, was able to keep her modesty intact as she posed for pictures on the expansive red carpet.

While she with smoky eyeshadow, Eva's raven tresses were swept back in high fashion style, while dazzling diamond studs lit up her ears.

Sparkle like Eva in Gabriela Cadena

France does the body good! At least to Eva's body! The star has been looking fierce since the day she arrived at Cannes. Eva wore a breathtaking Gabriela Cadena dress that showed off her svelte, petite figure.

The dress had lace, glitter embellishments along the sides and shoulders. The sheer material was risque but when in France...be risque?

At the big unveiling of Inside Out, Eva rubbed shoulders with some of the 3D animated movie's stars, including Amy Poehler, who voices the character Joy.

Among with such emotions as Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Anger (Lewis Black), she appears in the mind of an 11-year-old girl who is forced to confront her emotions when her parents decide to uproot their family.

Kaitlin Dyas provides the voice for the central character, Riley, in whose mind most of the film is set.

The emotions live in harmony in the abstract 'Headquarters' at the beginning of the film.

As it progresses, Joy and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) are sent to Riley's long-term memory.

All she is left with is Fear, Disgust and Anger as Joy and Sadness try to work their way back into her thoughts.
