She and her ex-fiance are currently locked in a bitter legal battle over frozen embryos created when they were together.

And though Sofia Vergara isn't interested in them, it appears having more children may still be in her cards.

But she admits it will have to be soon - or not at all.

'Joe is younger than me. He’s 38. He’s never had kids. How am I going to say no?' the 42-year-old Modern Family star said during an interview with Redbook magazine for their June issue.

'I tell him if we’re going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don’t want to be 50 with a baby,' the outspoken star added.

Sofia is currently a mother-of-one to her 22-year-old son Manolo from her previous marriage to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993.

She and Joe have been together since 2014 and became engaged on Christmas.

Though the pair were only together for five months at that time, the Colombian knew the Magic Mike hunk, 38, was 'the one.'

'I finally realized that relationships don’t need to be so much work. Ever since we met, it’s been so easy. I’m very suspicious,' she divulged to Redbook.

'I’m like, "It’s not normal that we’ve been together for nine months and we haven’t had a big fight or anything."'

The brunette bombshell admitted she's learned a few lessons about men since hitting her forties nearly three years ago.

'I have learned that I have to let them be men. I think it’s very important not to try to take over on everything – even if you think you can do it easier or better,' Sofia revealed.

'If you don’t let them do things, you create a cycle and then you complain that they never do anything.'

Meanwhile, Sofia and her ex, businessman Nick Loeb, are currently locked in a legal battle over two frozen embryos.

Sofia, who split from Nick last May, claims that her former fiance is just trying to take advantage of her career by publicly fighting to take the two embryos to full term using a surrogate.

The case will be back in court on May 22.

Meanwhile, the actress recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and can be seen in the film Hot Pursuit alongside Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon.
