In the months since Matt Bellamy was first romantically linked with Elle Evans, their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength.

The Muse frontman, 36, was spotted partying with the Blurred Lines dancer at a fancy soiree on a yacht in Cannes in the early hours of Thursday morning.

And the new couple seemed far from shy about showing their affection for one another, as they held hands, kissed and danced together on a balcony, while surrounded by a well-heeled crowd.

For the occasion, Elle displayed her enviably svelte frame in a simple ensemble, which consisted of a red sleeveless crop top and a patterned miniskirt.

With a pendant highlighting her décolletage, Elle wore her platinum tresses down on her shoulders as she strode barefoot into the party while holding her new beau's hand.

Matt looked suave for his night out on the French Riviera, wearing a power blue blazer over a grey striped top, which he teamed with white trousers.

Inside the bash, Matt - who tucked a pair of stylish sunglasses into his top - was seen lovingly slipping an arm around Elle's waist, as she rested a bangle-decorated arm on his upper back.

Elle, 25, is on a working trip to France, where she is busy promoting her upcoming movie - aptly entitled Muse - at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film follows the story of Adam, a lonely painter whose 'life is changed forever when he meets a girl who is beautiful... and dangerous'.

Elle, who lives in Los Angeles, is best known for appearing in Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines music video.

Matt and Elle - who bares a striking resemblance to Matt's ex-fiancée Kate Hudson - were linked since February after being introduced by mutual friends.

A source told E! News at the end of April that 'it's getting serious' between the pair.

Together they have three-year-old son Bingham, and a representative for the former couple said that 'they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.'

Oscar-nominee Kate was last romantically linked to Dancing With The Stars' Derek Hough.
