'My diet stayed the same': Rumer Willis jokes about French fry addiction as she joins the cast of The Chew following stunning DWTS win

Rumer Willis and partner Val Chmerkovskiy were just announced as the season 20 winners of Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday.

And on Thursday the pair took to ABC's The Chew, where they discussed their hard-earned victory, while joining Carla Hall and Clinton Kelly in the kitchen.

The 26-year-old joked about her obsession with French fries as she was asked how her meals changed to prepare for the rigorous dance training, noting: 'My diet pretty much stayed the same. It's: French fries, grilled chicken, avocado, jalapeno chips,' she said, listing off some of her diet staples.

Rumer looked stylish in a long-sleeved black mini dress and thigh-high suede boots, which prompted co-host Clinton to say that the star's ensemble was 'on fleek.'

Her long dark locks were styled in a wide side part, and then pulled back into a sleek ponytail, and she kept her make-up simple.

She was joined by partner Val, who donned a patterned blue button down, fitted black trousers, and accessorized with a black baseball cap, worn backwards.

The victorious pair brought along their shiny mirrorball trophy for the appearance, which they both noted was surprisingly heavy.

'It sabotaged my moment!' Val joked, explaining that he went to raise his arm in the air in celebration, while holding the trophy, but found it too difficult because of the weight.

They joined co-hosts Clinton and Carla in the kitchen to make a sweet pepper grilled cheese and lemon and herb salted fries, as co-hosts Daphne Oz and Michael Symon stood by on the sidelines to chat with the Dancing with the Stars champions.

Rumer clarified that she of course adjusted her diet for all of the additional exercise that DWTS brought on, noting: 'You definitely have to eat a lot more.'

The actress, when tasked with assisting the co-hosts in the kitchen, also joked that she used to be quite the baker herself.

'When I was about 19 I thought I was Betty Crocker,' she joked, though she doesn't have quite the affinity for the hobby anymore.

However, Chef Michael gave the star credit for the job she did on the lemon and herb fries, to which she quipped: 'Listen, anything French fries I'm in all the way.'

Clinton also brought up Rumer's partner, Val's talent for violin, a skill he showed off on Rumer's cover of Toxic.

The pair danced along to the number for their freestyle dance during the finale, and it is now available on iTunes.

Val seemed embarrassed as he said: 'I know. It's random,' before adding that he was just beginning to forgive his parents for the activities they signed him up for as a child.

However, the hosts wouldn't stand for such self-deprecating behavior, and Val admitted he actually did appreciate it, adding: 'I grew up playing Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall.'

Ready to cook: After receiving a compliment from Chef Michael Symon for her culinary skills, Rumer brought up her guilty pleasure again, joking: 'Listen, anything French fries I'm in all the way'

And while he may have been a bit shy discussing his talent, he had no problem gushing about partner Rumer, of whom he said: 'I was very fortunate with a great, talented partner that worked really hard,' when asked about the pair's win.

Rumer discussed her family's support following Tuesday's announcement, saying: 'My sisters came up and bum rushed me and they're like 'We did it! Yeah!''

'It was so awesome,' she continued, of her family. 'But they're just so proud and so excited. It's so fun to have them there.'

The star's sisters Tallulah, 21, and Scout, 23, had been very vocal through the season in support of their sister, and their parents Demi Moore, 52, and Bruce Willis, 60, were often spotted cheering her on in the audience.

'I think my mom has turned into, and I say this in the best way, the most amazing dance mom I have ever seen,' she added, referring to the popular yet controversial Lifetime series.

She explained that Demi was heavily invested in her and Val's plans this season, when it came to routine, costume, make-up, and more.

Val also discussed the upcoming Perfect Ten Tour, which is likely even more special following his big win.

The tour begins on June 13 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and continues through August 11, hitting over 40 cities across America, with 90-minute shows set to combine new acts with some of the most memorable numbers from all 10 years of Dancing With The Stars.

'I wanted to go on tour and thank all of the fans and share this with them,' Val said of the upcoming tour.

In similar conversation with The Chew cast, Rumer and Val chatted with People about Demi's involvement on the dancing competition.

'I have to give huge props to my mom she just pulled out all the stops the last week and she reached out to a lot of people,' she said about her mom contacting their celebrity friends Sofia Vergara, Ashton Kutcher, Miley Cyrus among others to rally votes.

'They said how do we support Rumer. She's like the best version of a dance mom ever,' she added.

With Val even commenting on just how much Demi was involved conceptually: She even said "What are you going to do about your tattoos, you know America doesn't like that."'

Hitting the road: Val also spoke of his upcoming tour with DWTS, Perfect Ten, of which he said: 'I wanted to go on tour and thank all of the fans and share this [win] with them'
