She has been lapping up the luxury lifestyle of the 68th Cannes Film Festival, and Thursday evening was no exception for Pixie Lott.

The 24-year-old songstress exuded heaps of Hollywood glamour as she attended the premiere for Dheepan at the exclusive annual event, held in Cannes, France.

Turning heads as walked down the red carpet with her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire, the British beauty stood out in a 90s inspired floor-sweeping gown.

The black chiffon number, complete with a plunging heart-shaped bodice and ruche detail, highlighted her lean and slender frame to perfection.

She amped up the glam factor by styling her blonde luscious locks in chic waves, as well as drawing further attention to her striking facial features with blush-tinted cheeks, shiny pink lips and well-defined eyes.

Allowing her ensemble to do all the talking, Pixie rounded off her look with a diamond encrusted choker and matching earrings while toting her belongings in a small white clutch.

Meanwhile, Dheepan tells the story of the war-scarred title character meeting a young woman and a nine-year-old girl in a refugee camp.

In order to win passage to France, they assume the identities of a dead family and head to Paris, where drug gangs are waging their own war in the dilapidated tower blocks.

Still haunted by their country's brutal civil war, Dheepan finds work as a caretaker at the estate while his purported wife Yalini accepts a job as a cook and a maid for the disabled uncle of one of the drug lords.

The lead actor, novelist Anthonythasan Jesuthasan making his screen debut, was himself forced to fight as a child solider in Sri Lanka from the age of 16.

Directed by one of France's most acclaimed film stars, Jacques Audiard, Dheepan is among the filmss vying for Cannes' top honour, the Palme d'Or, to be awarded on Sunday.
