From the runway to the gangway: Anja Rubik flashes her very long legs as she makes a stylish exit from a yacht in Cannes

As you would expect, billowing ballgowns aren't the most practical of clothing when it comes to seafaring.

However, as a seasoned pro on the catwalk, even Anja Rubik manages to navigate getting on and off a yacht in a piece of couture.

The Polish model, 31, ended up flashing her long legs as she lifted up her strapless blue DSquared2 gown as she made her way on to dry land in Cannes' port.

Anja was enjoying drinks with DSquared2 designers and twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten on a yacht before they made their way to the star-studded amfAR Cinema Against AIDs Gala in nearby Antibes.

With so much material, Anja gathered up the full skirt as she made her way across the platform from the Lady May yacht. 

The identical twins were her escorts as she arrived at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc for the biggest event during the Cannes Film Festival.

With such as show-stopping gown, Anja didn't distract too much with her blonde hair half plaited and tousled.

She completed her look with a pair of black high heels and a dark sapphire necklace.

Meanwhile, her companions Dean and Dan looked very dapper in black suits.

This year is the 22nd annual Cinema Against AIDs black-tie gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, situated just half an hour drive from Cannes.

Last year's event raised a record $35million for amfAR, a foundation dedicated to ending AIDS through research.

As well as the live auction, the event also included musical performances and a fashion show.
