About the logo:

Based on the island of Sandoy (which has a population of around 1,500 and is one of the eighteen islands that make up the Faroes) B71 (B71 means Bóltfelagið 1971 "Ball Club 1971") was formed on 1 January 1970.

National League champions in 1989 and Faroe Islands Cup winners in 1993, B71 has also played in the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1994 and the UEFA Cup in 1996.

The club crest shows the Faroese flag (traditionally a red, white and blue "Scandinavian Cross" - although in this case 'centred' upon a shield). On top of this sits a yellow football (representing the primary club colour and sport played) upon which the club name is displayed.
