Inspiring! AnnaLynne McCord is pretty in a pink floral frock at the 17th Annual CAST From Slavery To Freedom gala in LA

AnnaLynne McCord is famous for playing the vixen in such television shows as 90210 and Dallas.

The 27-year-old actress lent more of that sultry appeal as she attended the 17th Annual CAST From Slavery To Freedom gala in Los Angeles on Thursday.

AnnaLynne drew springtime inspiration in a halterneck pink frock with a flare and patterned in floral and fauna designs.

While the dress fit loosely and camouflaged her slender shape, the Georgia-born beauty showed off her lean legs thanks to a thigh-skimming hemline.

Beige-strapped heels completed the picture she made and her voluminous blonde-streaked locks swept over shoulders and down her back.

The event held at Skirball Cultural Center served to celebrate freedom and, CAST Los Angeles does every year, honour a survivor of human trafficking.

As the CAST LA Facebook page pledged: 'We assist persons trafficked for the purpose of forced labor & slavery-like practices & to work toward ending all instances of such human rights violations.'

Joining AnnaLynne at the event was Mira Sorvino, who displayed her long and toned limbs in a blue and ivory lace short dress and navy high heels.

And on the red carpet, AnnaLynne linked arms with other attendees including Chloe Flower, Russell Simmons and Jeannie Mai.

AnnaLynne made headlines last year when she revealed her struggles to overcome her strict upbringing, a sexual assault by a former friend and a rocky love life in an essay for Cosmopolitan magazine.

All of her experiences led her to help others and she now works with survivors of sexual slavery.

Her essay concluded: 'Honestly, I would endure everything all over again. It has led me to my own revolution.'
