Rachel Zoe not only know how to create the dream red carpet look, she also knows how to fulfill every toddler's fantasy too.

The 43-year-old certainty won the best mom ever award with son Skyler on Friday.

The stylist treated the four-year-old to a day filled with fun in Beverly Hills, California.

Skyler was a very lucky boy with his mom first taking him to famed toy store Tom's Toys.

There, the little boy's eyes lit up as he tested out some of the newest offerings from the store.

Some illuminated toys caught his eye the most and he spent some time playing with his mom watching on.

The fun continues: But Rachel Zoe was not done there, after their play time the mother son duo headed to a nearby Coffee Bean

In addition to her regular coffee, the stylist also dressed in her signature look of flared blue jeans with a black oversized top and a chic textured knitted jacket.

The star accessorised the ensemble with a pair of vintage looking gold framed glasses and wore her hair out and straightened as she usually does.

As always, Skyler was a mini fashionista wearing a pair of black pants cinched in at the ankle and grey sweatshirt with a stylized owl on it.

Completing his look, the four-year-old wore his long hair back in a bun under a knitted beanie and threw on a pair of Toms shoes.

Not joining the pair was Rachel's husband Rodger Berman or Skyler's brother Kaius who is 17 months.

While it may seem unusual that Rachel sticks to one style for herself but creates new trends for her clients she recently wrote in Women's Health that having a signature look is critical.

The 43-year-old wrote: 'Individual style has little to do with who can collect the most expensive designer bags or ankle boots. Anyone can put together an amazing look, even on a budget. All you need is a go-to signature style.

'Once you have your look down, you can build a wardrobe that embodies your signature style - and edit out the pieces that don't complement your fashion persona.'
