Kell Brook caught up with a fellow world champion in the gym on Tuesday - snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan.

The 29-year-old is preparing to defend his IBF welterweight world title in the ring against Frankie Gavin on May 30, and is heavily tipped to maintain his undefeated record.

And Brook, who was stabbed four times while on holiday in Tenerife in September last year, has been stepping up his preparations ahead of the O2 Arena showdown.

Brook has revealed his admiration of five-time world champion O'Sullivan before, telling the BBC last month: 'I love motocross and would love to have a go but I can't go anywhere near them in case I got injured.

'But I also like watching snooker and will be going to the Crucible in Sheffield this year to watch the World Championship. Judd Trump is up there, but Ronnie O'Sullivan is still my favourite player.'
