They've been putting on a glamorous display throughout the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

And Friday night was no exception for models Jourdan Dunn and Toni Garrn, who turned heads at The Little Prince opening in the South of France.

The 24-year-old British beauty and the 22-year-old German blonde looked sensational in their dramatic evening wear as they attended the grand debut of Mark Osborne's fresh animated take on Saint-Exupéry's timeless classic.

The Cannes Film Festival is surely the most glitziest and glamorous of all the events on the industry's calender. So it's no surprise we've seen an array of dazzling sequin embellished frocks gliding up the red carpet.

Jourdan stunned in a sheer fishtail number featuring black lace embroidery, worn over a flesh-coloured bodysuit.

The strapless garment hugged her svelte figure in all the right places and was set off with a black clutch bag.

The glamorous model wore her bob in retro curls and added to the old Hollywood effect with sparking blue drop earrings.

Toni gave her a run for her money in a sparkling silver gown which caught the light as she shimmied down the red carpet.

Leonardo DiCaprio's ex, who split from the A-list actor last year, showed off some skin thanks to the dress' backless style and cut-out panels at the hips.

The blonde beauty wore her locks down loose in waves and opted for an icy blue make-up look to match the glittering gown.

Also in attendance at the premiere was French actress Marion Cotillard, who looked elegant in a baby blue column dress.

The Little Prince, directed by Mark Osborne, features the voices of Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, James Franco.

It is a big screen adaptation of Le Petit Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's philosophical novella about a pilot stranded in the desert, who meets a young prince fallen to Earth from a tiny asteroid.

The best-selling classic holds the title of third most-translated book in the world.
