She’s been enjoying the very best of the relentless party circuit, but Michelle Rodriguez appeared to take advantage of a rare break in proceedings at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday morning.

The 36-year-old actress stripped down to a skimpy white bikini for a relaxing dip in the outdoor pool at Hotel du Cap Eden Roc – where she was joined by a small group of female friends.

Michelle, best known for her recurring role in the hugely popular Fast & Furious movie franchise, looked predictably relaxed while taking in the breath-taking views across the sweeping Mediterranean coastline.

The star was her usual laid-back, low-maintenance self, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail and no make-up on.

With her arms crossed over the edge of the pool, she chatted to her group of pals before toweling off and making her way inside.

Michelle was taking it easy following a glamorous appearance at the annual amFAR Gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap D'Antibes.

On Monday night Cannes regular Michelle Rodriguez stunned in an elegant, custom made Blumarine gown as she attended the Chopard Gold Party- but the glitz and glam doesn't just finish on the red carpet. Ohhh no.

The stars were both in attendance at THE de Grisogono dinner, with Cara bringing new partner St. Vincent along as her date.

Determined not to make a big deal out of things, model-of-the-moment Cara reportedly chose to leave after spotting Michelle.

A source told MailOnline: 'Cara and Annie (St. Vincent) were sat with a group of friends watching Robin Thicke's performance, when Michelle walked in and immediately clocked them.

'She definitely didn't look too happy to see them, but Cara didn't want her to cause a scene and decided to leave.'
