She's a style icon so Gwen Stefani even manages to bring her fashion a-game to a relaxed day off with her family.

The 45-year-old singer looked casual but chic in a pair of harem pants and a grey and black sweater as she enjoyed a trip to a Beverly Hills park with husband Gavin Rossdale and their three sons on Sunday.

Gwen added a pair of bright yellow flats to her monochrome look as she watched her brood enjoy a game of football in the sunshine.

Gwen looked gorgeous in her loose-fitting black trousers which were cropped to show off her yellow loafers.

The No Doubt frontwoman added a polo neck grey and black sweater and finished her chic look off with a patterned belt.

Her platinum blonde locks were pulled back into a messy up do, while the star added some huge shades and a slick of her favourite red lippie.

Gwen carried her adorable 14-month-old son Apollo around the leafy park, with the star's youngest looking cute in his jeans and Nike trainers.

The singer's two older boys, eight-year-old Kingston and six-year-old Zuma had some fun kicking around a football with dad Gavin Rossdale, 49.

The family stopped by a local cafe for a bit to eat following their time in the sunshine, before heading home.

Gwen is making the most of family time with her boys as she gets ready for a busy few months with her band No Doubt.

The group are playing a number of festival dates this summer, while Gwen also works hard on her third solo album, due for release later this year. 

The band are hitting Northern California this week for the Bottle Rock Festival, while earlier this month Gwen travelled to Las Vegas to perform with No Doubt at the Rock in Rio festival.

Joined on stage by bassist Tony Kanal, drummer Adrian Young, guitarist Tom Dumont and two other musicians, Gwen performed a two-hour set in front of an estimated 37,000 people at the 40-acre open air venue.

The mum-of-three rolled back the years as the band revisited their biggest hits including Don't Speak, Just A Girl and Underneath It All.
