Gwyneth Paltrow celebrates Memorial Day with ex Chris Martin at star-studded Malibu beach party

And Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were certain not to let an American holiday go by without celebrating together.
The former couple were spotted at the Hollywood producer Joel Silver's annual Memorial Day party in Malibu on Monday.

While arriving in separate cars, Paltrow, 42, and her former husband most likely bumped into each other at the barbecue.

Held at his own home, Joel - who is known for action films like Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and The Matrix trilogy - goes to considerable lengths to ensure everyone is catered for.
He also pays special attention to celebrities' children often hiring jumping castles, entertainers and setting up arts and crafts areas.
The guests at his party also included January Jones, Diane Kurger, Courteney Cox and Bella Thorne.
