Elisabetta Canalis took to Instagram earlier this month to share the exciting news that she was expecting her first child with husband Brian Perri.

And on Friday the 36-year-old former Dancing With The Stars contestant showed off her growing baby bump for the first time as she was spotted out in Los Angeles.

The ex-girlfriend of George Clooney looked laid-back in athletic wear as she met up with celebrity stylist Valentina Micchetti and her daughter Emily for lunch.

Bumping along nicely: Elisabetta Canalis debuted her growing baby bump while out in Los Angeles on Friday after announcing her pregnancy on Instagram early this month

Elisabetta wore a fitted grey sweatshirt, which she coupled with a pair of form-fitting patterned leggings.

The brunette beauty coupled the casual look with a pair of lime green Nike sneakers, and sported a black zip-up sweatshirt tied around her waist.

She carried a small black shopping bag from Barneys, and finished off the look with a black leather cross body purse.

She wore her long, caramel locks down, styled straight, and appeared to enjoy a bit of shopping before meeting up with her friend for lunch.

Elisabetta later changed into a different sweatshirt before meeting with Valentina, and threw her hair back into a bun.

Her new sweatshirt was the same shade of grey, but was an off-the-shoulder number, and was decorated with a large pair of sunglasses emblazoned with the Union Jack.

The star, who dated Clooney for two years until 2011, shared the news of her pregnancy on Instagram on May 6.

The Instagram post contained a picture of a pregnant Barbie doll sitting on a note that read: 'We are having a girl!'

Along with the adorable picture message, she added: 'I am so excited to share this moment with you guys .... my husband and I will have a little girl and I couldn't be happier.'

'She will be the boss and we can't wait to see her. Thanks for your love..... Eli and Brian.'

Donning a false pregnancy stomach, she said in the clip: 'I am so happy to share this moment with all of you. Last year you were so cute and you gave me a lot of love. Thanks.'

'Now I don't know how to say it. I'm expecting a baby girl! I hope that everything will be fine. Thanks for everything. Thanks for being always so close.'

Her wedding to 46-year-old Brian came just a week before her most famous ex of all, Clooney, tied the knot to Amal Alamuddin in a highly publicized ceremony in Venice, Italy.

On Monday George was seen with Amal in Tokyo at the premiere of his new film Tomorrowland.
