Not afraid of carbs! Jennifer Aniston, 46, shares snaps of her hearty breakfast and lunch as she takes over Instagram account

She's been vocal about maintaining her svelte shape with regular exercise routines including yoga, barre, and cardio.

But Jennifer Aniston has finally revealed the other secret behind her impressive physique - her diet - as she took over her beauty brand Living Proof's Instagram account.

'Good morning, Instagram!' the 46-year-old actress wrote along with a snap of her healthy and hearty breakfast which included a poached egg atop a slice of toast, accompanied with sliced tomatoes and avocado.

Toned, tanned and totally hot perfectly describes Jennifer Anniston as she walked the Oscar red carpet in a nude and heavily beaded Atelier Versace gown from the Spring 2015 collection.

Atelier Versace has always been a red carpet favorite since it's all about over the top luxury, scintillating sex appeal and just the right amount of drama. Anyone who wears Versace tends to start trending on twitter! (Think J.Lo back in the day!)

The egg appears to have come from Jen's very own chicken coop, as she later shared a snap of a bucket of eggs, writing, 'Our chickens have been very hard at work.'

The fiancee of actor Justin Theroux followed her morning meal with a workout, posting a picture of her ballet-inspired feet perched on a purple yoga mat besides her dog, Dolly.

A couple 2-pound weights are also in the picture, along with a blue mini exercise ball.

'A little barre work with my beauty (heart),' Jen captioned the snap.

After burning calories, the Cake star fuelled up with a refreshing and nutritious Mediterranean salad for lunch.

'My perfect salad – Bulgar (sic), cucumbers, parsley, mint, red onion, garbanzo beans, feta cheese, & pistachios,' she wrote with a picture of her mixing bowl.

By sharing this image, it's clear Jen doesn't restrict gluten from her diet, as bulgur is a cereal food made from wheat.

Jen's 'better living expert' previously revealed that the key to staying slim and healthy is finding the time for five meals a day.

She then just has to squeeze in five, five-minute exercise routines and a run – all of which can 'fit into her busy lifestyle,' according to her personal trainer Kathy Kaehler.

Kathy said: 'I don't believe in calorie counting. Jen eats at least three times a day, or ideally five small but nutritious meals.

'I advise everyone to go out and buy your food for the week ahead on a Sunday, so you're not tempted to pick up takeaway food or pre-packaged ready meals on your way home on weekdays.

'Jen would never sit there and eat an entire pack of cookies, but she would have one if she really fancies it and savour every bite.

'Jen does everything in moderation. She'll have a glass of red wine with a friend and really enjoy it, rather than two bottles and feel terrible for days.'

Kathy has worked as a fitness instructor to the rich and famous since 1989 when she was recruited as a personal trainer for actress Jane Fonda and her celebrity friends.

She added: 'Jen knows that looking young comes from a holistic approach to life and taking care of your mind, body and soul. If you're stressed, you'll look tired.'
