She had just returned from 'heaven' in India.

But Rachel Hunter wasted no time slipping back into her new uniform of denim shorts when she stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday following her long flight from abroad.

The genetically blessed 45-year-old looked far from jetlagged as she showed off her fabulous legs during a grocery run with a friend.

Rachel looked refreshed and revived in her blue-grey tank top, which also showcased her toned arms to full effect.

She partially pinned back her blonde hair, while letting the rest roam freely around her face and over her shoulders.

The model finished off the relaxed look with a chic black purse and flip flops.

Stocking up! The actress had a male companion help her load up her goods

Her pal was also casually dressed in a black sweater and jeans, and appeared to be helping Rachel pile her groceries inside the trunk of her car.

The model leaned in to give her male companion a peck on the cheek once they had loaded the items into her car.

Rachel appeared to have been in India as late as Thursday, and the model enthusiastically documented her trip abroad on Twitter.

In the early days of her time in India, Rachel captioned one snap of her riding horseback: 'Morning ride on Munna ... Moon in india #jetlag #india #heaven'.

It was uncertain whether or not Rachel was joined by her two children, Liam Stewart, 20 and Renée Cecili Stewart, 22.

Renee and Liam are Rachel's two children from her previous marriage to Rod Stewart.

Gratitude: Hunter leaned in to give her friend a peck on the cheek after they loaded up her groceries

After tying the knot in 1990, the former couple split in 1999 before finalising their divorce in 2006.

Recently, Rachel was in Cannes to attend a photocall for her upcoming TV show, Rachel's Tour Of Beauty.

The program will show in New Zealand in summer 2015 and shows the beauty on a globe-trotting voyage of discover from Asia to America and Mexico to the Middle East to see how approaches to beauty differ.

The show's executive producer Bettina Hollings says: 'Rachel’s Tour of Beauty is an exciting worldwide project for us.

'We are delighted to be working with Zodiak who showed immediate enthusiasm for this series from the outset.

'This is a very personal project for Rachel and a great journey of discovery to get to the soul of beauty.'

There will be more to come from Rachel on the film front, as she will be seen in in the upcoming film Her Infidelity.
