Since bursting on the music scene, Nicki Minaj has surprised fans with her jaw-dropping taste in style, fast becoming a bona fide sex symbol.

And the 32-year-old, who has come a long way from her childhood days, decided to pay homage to her past humble beginnings by taking to social media sites to share an old throwback photo.

Flashing a hint of smile and dressed in a bright red jumper, the American singer - real name Onika Tanya Maraj - looked almost unrecognisable as she posed for the camera.

It emerged in April that they were engaged, but Meek, 28, was quick to deny the speculation after Nicki was snapped with a massive yellow diamond heart ring.

'I ain't engaged,’ he told Fader Magazine, before telling the publication his relationship with the Anaconda singer is ‘definitely real.’

‘But it ain't really time to get married yet. We're still learning each other, feeling each other out,' he explained.
