Jose Mourinho has blasted Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek branding his performance against Sydney unacceptable.

The youngster is the Blues' biggest homegrown hope, and was fully expected to play regularly for the first-team next season.

But Mourinho says his relationship with Loftus-Cheek has taken 'a step back' after his side's win at the ANZ Stadium.
